It turns out that Summertime Ginch Dude might be a little risque for the All Ages scene - the band was planning to poster the park and other family-friendly environs and thought this might raise an eyebrow or two. Hopefully they can use it for more adult advertising spots and hopefully the picnic kids dig songs about cocktails. Anyway, I think he's pretty harmless - and suave - just beatin' the heat the best he can.
This just in: Lushy's going with the ginch. Feel the heat!
Super rush job for those crazy Moonspinners kids. (Kling-klanging of image is required for engorgement.)
What do you do when the gig poster gig dries up? Fake it.

May 1st - 31st. More sneakin' and peekin' here.
The top version is mine, the bottom the Folk Fest designer's. Yes, there was a degree of futzing-by-committee, but they readily admitted that and were generally easy to work with.
(The original blank bottom graphic shape on mine was intended for the "logo soup" and contact. Actual poster size is 8x12 w/white border.)
Anyway, I'm going to reserve further comment other than to say that the minor colour shift in his version might be some kind of lost-in-translation digital thing - I don't know. The jpegs aren't the greatest for similarly mysterious reasons, and I'm too computered out these days to fuss with them endlessly... I'd be curious to hear opinions, though.
