I did some background designs for these short public service announcement type things that play at Vancouver Canucks games on the big Canuckotron or whatever, basically telling people to simmer the fuck down and Go Canucks Go - while gently tickling the ol' funnybone. It's on their website and everything - I did the banner at the top as well. (Colour by Geoff Manson.)
I'm not into hockey in the least, but I think it's a pretty cool idea - certainly better than some lame corporate approach that would have likely involved some middle-aged morning-radio funny guys completely failing at being funny guys or even worse, Don Cherry.
